The first mountain bike ever, produced and designed by Joe Breeze in 1977, was on display at Interbike 2011.

That’s right. The first-ever mountain bike, built in 1977 by Joe Breeze, was on display in its magnificent restored-fashion –just as it was first intended, for trail and downhill use just north of San Francisco.
