After a brief summer siesta, we’re busy planning for the second season of “Exposure: In the Tank.”
Explained most commonly as Burlington, Vermont’s very own Austin City Limits, without the live audience, we produce a live webcast of bands performing at Burlington’s premiere vintage recording studio: Tank Studio.
Last year, during the inaugural spring web series, we featured 12 local and regional acts; including, Waylon Speed, Barika, Chamberlin, Joshua Panda Band, Miniboone, Fifth Business, Cash is King, Parmaga, The Vacant Lots, Amida Bourbon Project, Andrew Parker-Renga, and Zack DuPont & Pat Melvin.
“EXPOSURE” is the longstanding live-performance radio show produced by WRUV 90.1 FM and the University of Vermont. Each week artists play live in either the radio station’s broadcast studio or at Tank Studio. The hour-long live performance is then rebroadcasted within a two-hour program on the air –in Burlington on 90.1FM, and at wruv.org.
The following clips are segments taken from the director’s cut of the live webcast. What you see, is what you get –which happens to be pretty damn fun for everyone involved.
